Tim Simpson

Tim Simpson B.Sc(Hons) Chem.Eng, D.M.S.
Sales Director

Tim Simpson is the Sales Director of the Winkworth Group whose primary role is to co-ordinate and manage all sales activities for the UK and overseas offices.

Tim read Chemical Engineering at University and upon graduation joined the subsidiary company of Johnson Matthey, a manufacturer of Catalysts, primarily for the oil industry.

To further Tim’s industrial and global horizons, Tim moved to Zambia to work for Zambia Consolidated Copper Mines as a Metallurgist. Tim gained valuable knowledge through working in R&D and plant operation roles within filtration, leaching, thickeners, solvent extraction and electro-deposition.

In 1985, Tim returned to the U.K and joined Winkworth Mixers in Technical Sales and in 2006 was invited to join the board as Sales Director.

I get great pleasure from the knowledge that machines I sold over 20 years ago are still performing. It gives me real confidence and is a great testament to the quality of design and manufacturing put in by all our staff.” explains Tim.
